Asset Tag: wholesale price
A typical US business buyer pays a median of $0.45 per unit at small order quantities, falling to $0.08 at volume. These medians come from published supplier pricing. Treat them as a starting point, not a binding quote. Your spec and quantity set the final price.

What moves the price
For asset tag, the drivers are dimensions, material stock, chemical resistance, adhesive type — the spec them differently and the same item lands at either end of the band.
Published supplier pricing shows custom asset tags spanning roughly $0.27 to $1.99 each for printed polyester, aluminum, and rigid plastic formats at 5,000-unit and below breakpoints, while RFID-related bulk pricing guides place ruggedized asset tags around $0.50 to $5.00 and passive UHF label/inlay pricing much lower at high volumes. The most realistic wholesale routes are industrial tag printers for non-RFID asset labels and RFID converters/inlay suppliers for tracked asset tags; price is mainly driven by substrate (polyester vs aluminum), thickness/rigidity, adhesive and tamper-evidence, and whether the tag includes RFID/encoding. High-volume landed-equivalent pricing can plausibly reach the high-volume band cited for passive UHF labels/inlays, but exact pricing for a specific custom printed asset tag will depend heavily on die-cut size, print colors, and chemical resistance.
